Stella Polaris

04 / August / 2018

Stella Polaris takes place in the gorgeous gardens of Frederiksberg Have. Frederiksberg Have creates the perfect setup for a day of pure chillout with luscious green fields and serene canals accompanied by ducks and swans. The garden provides a great space for our two scenes, bars and children activity areas that are greatly visited throughout the day.

Food & Drinks

You will be able to indulge in the crunchy, greasy and flavorful street food favorites that are all freshly made and handed across the disk by some of the city’s best food trucks. You will be able to meet Hooked who have been able to catch all of Copenhagen’s foodies with their best-selling lobster roll and Stella Polaris will be adding a maritime twist to their sus- sustainably produced sh and shell sh.

If that does not hit the spot for you, you can try the crunchy pulled- pork croquette from the festival- darling, Food Squad, who has been stealing hearts all over. Find them and many others at the Food Court where you are guaranteed to let your cravings run wild!

Anarchistic picnic out in the green

This year you can join Stella Polaris and Restaurant Anarki in a 4-course dinner beneath the old trees of Frederiksberg Garden. You’ll be seated at a long-table amongst fellow food and music lovers with a view to the grand stage. Bring your own cutlery and plates like a true picnic!

Menu:

  1. Charcuterie from Carnivale presented by Johan Verdyck – the man behind some of the world’s best cold-cuts
  2. Ceviche & Leche de Tigre
  3. Veals hearts with seasonal greens
  4. Rødgrød – Danish berry compote

The feast will take place in three-time slots: 12:00, 15:00 and 18:00. The 4-course menu costs 200 DKK and tickets can be bought here.

We can’t wait to welcome you to this multi sensory dining experience.

Check Facebook for more info.

Stella Kids

We have tried to create even more activities for the families in all of the cities for Stella Polaris in 2018. There will be mini-scooters, games of The Earth is Lava, DJ’ing for kids, soap bubbles, drawing tent, balancing boxes, speed-tennis, just to name a few!

At the gardens of Frederiksberg, you will also get a chance to meet Tormod Tejner who will come and draw “combi-animals” and you will be able to meet Shonmpy, the balloon clown who is able to create the coolest balloon animals. In addition, you will also be able to enjoy face painting and meet the healthcare center of Frederiksberg, ABC for mental health and DGI Storkøbenhavn will also be showing up to create badges with the kids and bring along other fun games. Boblberg will also join the festival and will bring along competitions for the kids to enter in. Plenty more activities will be available at Frederiksberg who are supported by Frederiksberg Fonden.

At the castle in Sønderborg, you will be able to enjoy face painting, an obstacle course and soldiers from the area who will come and play with the kids.

Needless to say that we are looking forward to kicking of Stella Kids, 2018!
