Hotel Josty
Josty is one of Copenhagen’s few remaining historic hotel-restaurants.
The earliest buildings were built by the Italian sculptor Angostino Taddei, and were originally used as a tea house for King Frederik IV when he lived at Frederiksberg Palace – Josty’s closest neighbour.
The first restaurant, founded by Anton Josty, opened in 1823.

With its historic environment and idyllic surroundings in Frederiksberg Gardens, Josty now provides the ideal setting for any social event. We put on all manner of functions, meetings, conferences at the hotel and, in the summer months, in the café on the terrace overlooking Frederiksberg Gardens.
There is a large private car park for Josty’s guests. A parking ticket can be obtained in reception. Parking is free for Josty’s guests.
We look forward to your visit.
