Visit a legendary landmark where you can use and indulge your senses. Smell the ingredients, see beautiful

architecture, taste world-famous Danish beer in many styles and get a feeling of what Carlsberg is all about.

It is just 20 minutes from the City Hall Square.

Wall-to-wall beer

It all began in the mid-1800s where the Old Brewhouse is situated. Experience beer history in a maze of original rooms and stairs.

Marvel at the world’s largest collection of unopened beer bottles sourced from all over the globe. Add to your own collection with a visit to the Brand Store.

Horses in harness

Visit the beautiful four legged ambassadors and watch them get ready for work in the Visit Carlsberg stables. A short horse carriage ride around noon is included in your ticket if the weather permits.

Beer tastings and guided tours

At Visit Carlsberg, there are activities all day. Join a guided tour of the old brewery buildings or one of our beer tastings where you will learn more about the tastes and types of our beer. In addition, Visit Carlsberg has over 50 days with events a year – from Carlsberg Friday Bar all summer to a rustic Christmas Market. Check Facebook for upcoming Visit Carlsberg events.

Lunch and shopping

Enjoy your lunch in our “hyggelig” Jacobsen Brewhouse & Bar with one of the longest bars in Copenhagen. Here Nordic brasserie style lunch and beer is served with a view of the shiny copper kettles. The official Carlsberg Brand Store offers you everything from beer to glasses, iconic posters and our own line of Carlsberg clothing.
