Every day, we serve Danish open sandwiches, lunches and smorgasbord, as well as an à la carte menu. However the à la carte menu may be limited on some days, i.e. during the month of April, Whitsun, Midsummer’s Eve, Copenhagen Jazz Festival and some major music days.

Denmark’s national dish – Flæskesteg (Fried streaky pork) – and beef rib roast are always on the menu – day and evening.

M.G. Petersens familiehave traditionally has lots of live music on the small stage in the middle of the garden.

The stage opens on 1 May, and all summer, until our last day in mid-September, we have a music programme offering something for every taste.

It has everything from Tuesday sing-alongs with dance to the music of Havens Danseorkester (the garden band) to Friday evenings with music you can get down to from the good decades – the 70s to the 00s.

During the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, we have a packed programme of Happy Swing Jazz. We have menus for every occasion – from the wide range of open sandwiches to 4-course meals with the works.
