The Meatpacking District is blooming with butchers, stores and great restaurants.

Paté Paté is the oldest restaurant in this area. It has a special place in many people’s hearts for its rustic charm and down to earth spirit.

The atmosphere in the morning is calm, with jazz in the speakers and the neighbors dropping by for coffees and business meetings.

The lunch is lean back and the menu differs from many of the other places in this area. There are no burgers, nachos or sandwiches on the menu, but we offer a taste from around the world. Click here for Our lunch menu.

Our wine menu is like an encyclopedia and is very different from other restaurants. The wines are listed by grapes, strength, and are always followed by a funny anecdote or a sassy comment about the wine. It also offers world-class wines with high score from both wine advocate and Robert Parker. There is wines from all over the world and we always have at least 30 different wines on glass. It is no secret, that during summertime, Paté Paté is on the sunny side of the Meatpacking District. We have many guests dropping by for a late lunch or for a bottle of rosé, bubbles, and we even serve our homemade sangria. In the wintertime, the atmosphere is cozy and warming inside. Though we do not decorate for Christmas, but there is always a scent of homemade mulled wine in every corner of the restaurant.

The evening is busy with an atmosphere that is lively with Danish “Hygge” and good music.
